The European Plummer Terrier Society and it's aims...
Seek Kennel Club recognition. It is what Brian Plummer wanted and would benefit the breed in it's present situation.
Areas where support will be made available are; breeding Plummer terriers, the working Plummer terrier, promotion
and other positive aspects related to the Plummer terrier and it's
welfare.
Encourage a united Plummer terrier and good relations between the EPTS and
other recognised breed societies, such as the Plummer Terrier
Association.
Educate and assist present and future Plummer terrier enthusiasts. The EPTS will ensure advice is always available.
Carry out our work in a professional manner as a non profit making organisation. The EPTS will be structured accordingly, having a bank account, annual general meetings, a democratically elected committee and a constitution. We will always act within these parameters and strive for trusting relations with members and associates of the European Plummer Terrier Society.
Work in tandem with the European Plummer Terrier Register and it's registration database. Support will be made available to assist in the eradication of diseases and faults associated with the Plummer terrier.
To encourage EPTS membership involvement via the release of, news letters, minutes of the annual general meeting and taking into account any constructive ideas provided by members as they see fit.
We will also promote and support our own and other competitions in
the show arena for all Plummer terriers registered with; the EPTR, the Plummer
Terrier Association.
